“Art in October” A Sale of Original Paintings by Local Artists at the Princeton Shopping Center

“Art in October” – A sale of original paintings including the work of many local artists is being sponsored by the Garden State Watercolor Society and the Princeton Shopping Center on October 8-11 and 15-18, 2009. An opening reception will be held Thursday October 8 from 5-8 PM next to Ace Hardware and is free and open to the public. McCaffrey’s will be donating refreshments for the reception. A portion of the proceeds will benefit GSWS, a non-profit organization. Art sale hours are from noon to 5 PM Fridays-Sundays and noon – 8PM Thursdays.

The Garden State Watercolor Society (GSWS) is a non-profit organization made up of and governed by artists who work in watermedia on paper. It presents exhibitions, workshops, and demonstrations to educate the public in the beauty and creativity of artists painting with these tools.
