Brett Amazzeing & Maurice Help Kids Smile

Bret Amazzeing and his trusted sidekick Maurice the original party animal shared a lot of smiles with the visitors and exhibitors at the 2007 Mercer County Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. This dynamic duo have been busy visiting critically ill kids in area hospitals to bring them a smile and help them forget their troubles for a little while. It is truly a labor of love and an excellent opportunity for socially conscious corporate sponsorship to keep this duo on the road. It hasn’t been easy for Bret to get this act together, but we at Princeton Business News salute him… and Maurice, of course.

In October 1999 Bret Amazzeing entertained children in area hospitals during Magic Week. Bret was so overwhelmed with the delight of sharing smiles with patients and their families in hospitals that he couldn’t get enough of it. This gave him so much satisfaction that he soon began making visits on his own. As the years passed, his love for sharing a smile was more addicting. He would take his Dad along with him to watch how he could actually make patients and their families forget about their pain, if only for just a moment.
